Class Programs
2 Year Olds Early Preschool - This ia a great introduction to school. At this age, children are excited about new experiences that are fun and challenging. We have a monthly unit that they will follow. Some of these include: weather, colors, shapes, and community workers. Each day will consist of a lesson relating to the unit and is taught through art projects, story books and song. Children develop fine motor skills with manipulative toys, building blocks, playdough, painting, cutting and gluing, and other hands on activities. In addition to these skills, children will also learn to listen and follow directions, take turns, socialize with other children, separation from parents, and build self confidence.

Phonics time includes : Letter recognition, pre-tracing and writing, Zoo phonics that teaches letters and their sounds through song and hand signals. Literature book reading that corresponds to the letter of the week. Children learn to write their name. There is also arts, crafts, music and games that enhance the learning experience. Math curriculum includes: counting, sorting, patterning, and basic graphing. Number recognition and tracing. Included are songs that teach days of the week and months of the year. Science is full of fun and discovery as the children explore plants, animals, insects, and outer space to name a few of the units. The science program involves many hands on experiments like growing crystals and erupting volcanoes. Our program is designed to give children a positive experience where they can be challenged and learn through fun, hands on lessons. Your child will grow socially, emotionally, and academically.
